Customer Appreciation Day
Posted October 9, 2015
On October 1, USM employees enjoyed a crisp fall day connecting with customers at our Customer Appreciation Day.

The event was held at Mermaid Lake in Blue Bell, Pa in conjunction with the MCPWA meeting. After a morning of showcasing some of the equipment we offer, everyone gathered in the pavilion for a catered lunch.

USM’s president, Paul Statler, welcomed the attendees with gratitude. He also expressed a positive outlook for USM. “We’ve been working hard to make improvements to the company and we’re only going to keep getting better,” said Statler.

Our Customer Appreciation Day gave customers the opportunity to mingle with some of our employees they don't usually get to see as they work behind the scenes to help provide quality products and service.

We’d like to thank each of our customers for your business. You are what makes USM a success!

New Year--New Changes
Posted January 4, 2015
With the start of the new year, USM continues to progress towards reaching our greatest potential with new changes throughout our growing company.

After returning to USM several months ago as an Account Manager, Tim Miller's position has now changed to General Manager of our Huntingdon office. This will allow him to focus on managing daily operations, which will ultimately provide you with the best possible experience with USM.

Nathan Weaver has joined USM to take over Tim's territory. With ten years of retail sales experience to offer from his previous job at a car dealership, Nathan is an experienced, customer-oriented sales representative. He is passionate about serving you and values putting customers' needs first to ensure that they get everything they need. Using his retail sales background, Nathan joins our team with an interest in advancing existing customer relationships along with building new ones.

Moving Forward with Employee Transitions and Additions
Posted December 8, 2014
The staff and management of USM have made some additions that will enable us to serve you, our valued customers, in a timely and efficient fashion. We have made some improvements to our facility as well as staff transitions and additions that we hope will make a positive impact for you.

In the personnel arena, Scott Kaercher has moved from inside parts sales to outside account manager. He is serving the territory previously served by Chris Grove. Scott lends several years of product support experience to his new position and is excited to help you with your equipment needs.

Tim Miller has returned to USM as an account manager in the area he once served. He replaced Rick Springer, who has returned to J&J Truck Bodies. After a ten year hiatus in another industry, Tim is enjoying the opportunity to say hello to many old friends and meeting new ones. He has not lost his desire and energy to support his customer base.

Melissa Roma has joined our team to fill the newly created position of Multimedia Marketing Specialist. We are excited about the addition of Melissa as she will enable us to reach out to you in a fashion that we have sought out for some time. Some of her first projects were the new equipment catalog, website updates, Facebook page maintenance and our revived newsletter.

John Benton has joined us as CFO and brings with him, among other experiences, the intimate knowledge of our company that comes from having done the USM audit for a number of years. The addition of John will enable Paul Statler to spend more time with our staff to improve processes and procedures.

Craig Siefken comes to us with a technical background, as well as parts support and customer relationship experience that is proving to make him a quick study in filling Scott Kaercher’s previous inside position. Hands on experience with printed manuals and knowing how to obtain specific information from customer conversations is a always a challenge--a challenge that Craig is ready to tackle.
